EDC , Is a Tosbiba Nb10-A Netbook.
When we had the pademic , I was getting machine for repair , be it they need screens keyboards or the OS .
I charged what it cost be to get the parts from china and replaced them. I would give the machine a once over add more ram if I had spare ram.I then run Chris Titus deboat tool from his site https://christitus.com/windows-tool/ try to get things to run better .In payment I got a few old Laptops and Desktops, sold of old machine for the cost of the repairs, if they are worth it. If not Im not going to replace a $100 screen in a $90 laptop . I kept a couple for myself one was Tosbiba Nb10-A Netbook 11.6-inch, compact laptop (netbook) , I have a HP unsure what it is.
The machine has a Intel Celeron or Pentium processors,
4 gigs of RAM, and a
500 gig HDD. It includes, USB 3.0, HDMI, and VGA ports, often running Windows 8.1. which is not going to set the world on fire . I installed debian on it and it runs a treat with it 4gb of ram and a SSD . I choose Debian I like it and I seem to end up installing in servers and desktop after I tried other distro's . I have a old pc running OpenVault whihc is debian .Oh I wasnt intrested in running Win 8 , Now just need to find a good small bag for this and other EDC items , I have.
